This weekend I was saying something to my friend about "baggin' on blah blah blah" (I don't remember the details) and my friend was like " 'baggin'' is so 1984!" True. I suddenly felt like the girl still curling her bangs. This has not gone w/out previous thought though. The problem is "dissin'" sounds too whitey, "hatin'" too negative, and "complainin'" too square. So I haven't yet found a suitable replacement and maybe I'm a glutton b/c I pulled out "baggin'" in the workplace today. Oh the chiding. It's not retro it's just uncool. I can't even play it old school. So I need a replacement and quick. My cover is nearly blown.
