Saturday night concludes the last of this session's writing workshop. We end with a reading of our work. Last time turned out okay so this time I'm totally paranoid about sophomore slumping. Anyway, Dre, my roommate whose real name is RENEE, is not allowed to come. But you are. And her sister who'll be in town, the mailman, my dentist, that guy that works the drive thru at In-N-Out, and anyone else who will pretend like they like my stuff.

Afterwards, my friend Scarlett is leaving for South America for FOUR months. I'm both envious and completely bummed out she's leaving.
